UPSC Calendar 2020

Finally here we are in a new year along with the new calendar. And again UPSC or  Union Public Service Commission is ready with there new year schedule i.e. UPSC 2020 calendar. 

Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) is a government agency which is responsible for organizing Civil Services Exam, Engineering Services Exam, National Defence Academy Exam, Naval Academy Exam, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Exam, Combined Medical Services Exam, Geologist Exam, Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Exam etc. 

Toughness level of these exams is high so the passing percentage in UPSC till now has reached only upto 0.1%  to 0.3% .

The proposal for setting up a Public Service Commission came from The Royal Commission on the Superior Civil Services in India. The recommendation was accepted and this leads to the establishment of the first Public Service Commission which took place on October 1, 1926.
