Advantage Of Fly Ash Bricks

On the basis of tests we performed  on different building blocks we can conclude that how Fly Ash bricks are suitable for construction over others considering the social , environmental , and economical factors .

Fly Ash is a waste product and harms the environment hence using it for manufacturing building blocks saves the environment from it’s adverse effects . While if we take example of normal brick it requires the clay , the top of soil hence effects the fertility .

Cost of the Fly Ash brick per piece is Rs. 3 which is quite cheap from Rs 6 to Rs 10 of red bricks , Rs 35 to Rs 40 per piece of CLC Block , and same for the AAC Blocks hence it can easily be handled by constumer’s pocket .

Talking about the mechanical properties , they got enhanced in Fly Ash Bricks case than others along with the lightening of weight it reduces the dead load of the building .   

Compressive strength and flexural strength of fly ash brick is 54.21% and 56% higher than the clay bricks and they are 8.58% lighter in weight than the clay bricks
